1945-46 Viking Glass Catalog
100 s of Pieces
Molded, Engraved, and Etched Glass
This is an informative and impossibly rare 30-page group of 1945-46 Viking Glass catalog pages from the well-known Martinsville, West Virginia glass maker. Hundreds of pieces are pictured, each with dimensions, available sizes, and Viking style number. Among the many pieces are vases, baskets, bowls, dinnerware, relish dishes, tumblers, goblets, candlesticks, candelabra, figurines, pitchers, decanters, bottles, punch glasses and sets, perfume bottles, compotes, sauce and jam dishes with ladles, paperweights, ashtrays, other smoking accessories, and much more.
We have digitally reproduced the original catalog at an extremely high resolution, and printed the pages on a heavy gloss stock reminiscent of the original. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail. Colors have been carefully calibrated so that the tints of images in our catalog match those in the original. Some of our fine reproduction catalogs are already in museum research collections.
This reproduction catalog is intended as a permanent reference work. The true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. Heavyweight clear vinyl covers protect the front and back.
A wonderful and unusual gift for yourself or someone special.
